Importance of yoga
(In Lockdown) 

In Ayurveda yoga has taught to be great to keep the mental health in peace and to avoid disturbs  in life and depression like disorders to happen.

योगः चित्तवृति निरोधः

Yoga is the inhibition (Nirodha) of the modulations of the mind. This is attained through constant practice of detachment. The inhibition of the mind is to be arrested to have a clear and unperturbed vision. This can be done when the body is also disciplined .The mind remains healthy only when the body is healthy .To attain these physical-mental-verbal activities are to be done

 Note:
Heavy exercise should not be done in summers Becoz of heat and increase vata dosha will lead to excessive increase in vata dosha and will cause joint pain

Kapha prakruti people or obesed people should do little more excerise and should sleep during day more than 1/2and hr

Advantages of yoga:

1.Body become like light
2.Able to perform normal duties with entusiasm
3.increases the digestive power
4.reduces the fat and the body parts become distinct and firm

Contraindication:
 1.patient suffering from vata and pitta
2.children ,aged person, and persons suffering from indigestion

Excessive yoga
 Thirst, emaciation, haemorrhage, exhaustion, tiredness, cough, vomiting

Pranayam

 Prāṇāyāma is the practice of breath control in yoga. In modern yoga as exercise, it consists of synchronising the breath with movements between asanas, but is also a distinct breathing exercise on its own, usually practised after asanas. In texts like the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and later in Hatha yoga texts, it meant the complete cessation of breathing.
